T-Joints - Palindrome Chandelier consists of the Palindrome Frame, and the Palindrome Lamps. The frame is made up of a series of bent steel tubes, joined together by brass T-joints at each lamp location. A given Palindrome configuration may be installed with all of the T-joints oriented vertically (most common) or with the T-joints oriented horizontally (referred to as "flat" configurations).

Set Screws - Used to discourage movement of the frame and lamps when the preferred configuration is set. The screws alone may not support the weight and leverage applied to certain components - they are best used to lock the joints in position when the suspension cables are already holding the frame in the desired configuration.

Twist-stops - The frame tubes and lamps have features to prevent continuous 360-degree rotation. This is a critical feature that prevents the internal wires from twisting and getting damaged. These features should not be defeated.

Keyways - When assembling or disassembling a Palindrome T-joint assembly (connecting the tubes, adding the lamps) there are key and keyway features that make it possible to hold the parts in a specific orientation when fitting them together. After the parts are connected, changes to their relative orientation are possible.

Access Covers - Palindrome T-joints have access covers that are used to make the wire connections when the lamps are added. This is typically done after the frame is suspended in the desired configuration, which means the installer is probably standing on a lift or a ladder. The access covers are held in place with very small screws. Don't lose the screws.

Cord-out Location - The Palindrome strain relief part is always found in the same relative location on the Palindrome frame. It can be used for reference when planning the install, or if troubleshooting becomes necessary. The cord-out is on frame segment #1, much closer to segment #2 than to the final segment.

Install Notes - Palindrome Chandelier
